The president of Ambassadors FC Prague is Lukáš Kozák, M.A. Lukáš is a member of the Catholic Church; he studied law at Charles University and took over the leadership of our club in early 2022. Lukáš’s goal is to continue developing the youth teams—which compete in the official FAČR (Czech Football Association) leagues in the U15, U17, and U19 categories—as well as the men’s senior team (A-team). Above all, he wants to focus on the club’s further development.

In the near future, we plan to enter an adult “B” team into official competition, to which our players from the U19 competitive team could seamlessly transition. To ensure the club’s financial stability and maintain its current scope of operations, Lukáš sees an urgent need to secure new sponsors. Our biggest challenge remains securing our own field, which would greatly ease the club’s organizational and financial burdens and, moreover, provide the necessary facilities for the Ambassadors’ day-to-day operations—a place where players from all age groups could also gather together.

The club's priority—and Lukáš's as well—remains not only athletic performance, but above all the approach to the players and their personal development. “Above all, I’m glad that we have a lot of fun with the players and try to address their personal issues in depth. I enjoy that we can help the guys in this way, and they confide in us about things they wouldn’t share elsewhere. The most rewarding thing for me is when a player comes to me on his own and starts discussing his problem with me or with other coaches. I’m glad that we’re a source of support for the guys not just on the athletic side,” says Lukáš, who, in addition to serving as chairman, also works as one of our coaches; you can find him with the U16 teams, as well as at the practices and games of our mini-soccer team.

“We want our players to learn to work together, be team players, and respect one another. We’d also like to show them the possibility of turning to God; we’re constantly working to improve our spiritual programs—that is, the short reflections, not just on life, that the coaches prepare before each practice,” adds the new club chairman.
