WHO IS THIS TEAM FOR?
In the 2026–2027 school year, there is a team for boys and girls born between 2019 and 2020. Any exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis, particularly depending on the capacity of this and other teams.
In exceptional cases, after consulting with the coaches, it may be recommended that a player be placed on a team other than the one corresponding to his or her age. This may be due to differences in athletic development, skill level, or physical build.
Children at this age develop at their own pace, so we strive to find an environment for each child where they can develop to the best of their ability while also enjoying soccer. We always discuss any potential changes to a player’s placement on an individual basis with the player and their parents.
WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE TRAINING SESSIONS?
Practices are held:
– Every Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on the playground during September through October and April through June TJ Bohemians Praha – Slovenská, Slovenská 2205/2, 101 00 Praha 10 – Vinohrady.
– From November through March, every Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the gym at Chelčického Elementary School – Chelčického 2614/43, 13000 Prague 3 – Žižkov.
The first practice will take place on Friday, September 4, 2026. Practices are held throughout the school year, except on national holidays and during school breaks.
We reserve the right to change the training location due to potential operational issues (e.g., problems caused by the facility owners). We reserve the right to cancel training sessions in the event of force majeure, such as inclement weather, illness among the coaching staff, or other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a prolonged inability to train, we will refund a proportional portion of the fees.
Spiked cleats are not allowed on the field. Turf shoes are the most suitable footwear.
This team does not participate in any competitions, and the players only play any friendly matches that have been arranged in advance.
If you know any children born between 2008 and 2018 who would like to participate in the competition, we would appreciate it if you could pass along the opportunity to play in official league matches against other Prague clubs and participate in related team practices U11 U13, U15, U17 and U19.
WHAT DOES THE TRAINING INVOLVE?
We spend about half of each training session teaching the children basic soccer and general sports skills (motor development, ball handling, passing, teamwork, and dribbling).
During the second half of practice, the children play soccer-based games under the guidance of their coaches, or sometimes play soccer itself. We try to keep them in smaller teams and groups so that everyone can participate as much as possible.
Since we are a Christian soccer club, we want to develop not only the physical (soccer) aspects of our players but also their spiritual growth. That is why our training sessions also include brief reflections led by the coaches. We always strive to explain these ideas in a way that is understandable given the children’s ages and the fact that they come from diverse backgrounds. We share biblical truths applied to everyday life through the lens of the Bible, other stories, and our own experiences. In some teams, a short prayer is also part of the training session.
HOW MUCH ARE THE MEMBER FEES?
We collect fees from players for court rentals totaling 2,600 Kč per half-year. We reserve the right to increase the fee for the second half-year in the event of rent increases.
Payment for the first half of the year is due no later than September 31, 2026.
Payment for the first half of the year is due no later than January 1st, 2027.
Payments are always posted to players' accounts in the KIS club app, where the corresponding variable symbols are also assigned to them.
HOW TO REGISTER?
Registration for the 2026/27 season will take place:
- For existing players, starting Monday, June 8—watch for an email with more information
- For new players, starting Monday, June 22, at 9:30 – via Google Form HERE
This team is at full capacity, so we cannot guarantee that all applicants will be accepted. We will notify you whether you have been accepted or placed on the waiting list.
